Our Beliefs At A Glance

A. We believe the Holy Scriptures, accepting fully the writings of the Old and New Testaments as the very word of God, verbally inspired in all parts and therefore wholly without error as originally given by God, all together sufficient in themselves as our only infallible rule of faith and practice.

B. We believe in one triune God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

C. We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, and as true God and true man, was crucified, giving Himself upon the cross for our sin. The third day He rose from the dead and was glorified in the same body in which He suffered and died. He is now our High Priest in heaven appearing before the face of God as our Advocate and Intercessor. We believe in the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, that it will be personal, visible, and that it is imminent.

D. We believe that the Holy Spirit is a Divine Person, equal with the Father and Son and of the same substance and nature, that He convicts of sin, righteousness and judgment, bears witness to the truth, is the Agent of the New Birth, and that He seals, endues, guides, teaches, witnesses to, sanctifies, and helps the believer, indwelling every true child of God.

E. We believe in the creation and fall of man. Adam was the direct creation of God in whose image he was created, that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death which is separation from God, that all those descended from Adam are born with a sinful nature and in the case of those who reach moral responsibilities become sinners in thought, words, and deeds.

F. We believe in salvation by grace through faith. Men are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.

G. We believe in the bodily resurrection and the future life.

H. We believe in the eternal punishment of the ungodly.

I. We believe in the existence and personality of Satan.

J. We believe that Christian baptism is the immersion in water of a believer in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; setting forth the essentials in the experience of the believer-death to sin and resurrection to newness of life. We believe that a New Testament church is a sovereign body of believers thus baptized, associated for worship, service, and the spread of the Gospel.

K. We believe that the Lord's Supper (Communion, Lord's Table) is the commemoration of His death, till He comes, and should be preceded always by self-examination, remembering we are new creations, separated unto God from the things of the world, the flesh, and the devil to live a victorious Christian life.

L. We believe that all those who truly receive the Lord Jesus as Savior and Lord are born of God, that by this birth from God they are the children of God. We believe they are made partakers of The Divine Nature by the incoming and indwelling of the Holy Spirit, and are sealed with the Holy Spirit. These believers are kept by the power of God, they will be raised by the Lord Jesus Christ at His return, and they will be presented faultless before the presence of His Glory.

M. We believe all who are saved are called into life of separation from all worldly and sinful practices.

N. We believe in the separation of church and state.
